A Poem for You Grandpa

You accepted me for who I was and who I am.

I loved you and you loved me.

You brightened my day and changed my world.

The way I see it you are the best.

I only hope that one day I can meet you again.

And I can tell you how much I appreciate you.

And how much I loved you so.

I miss you, Grandpa, forever and always. I love you.

I wish you were still here with us today.

You knew how to make me smile.

And make everyone including Sweet Pea listen.

We had our ups and downs.

We managed to pull through it all.

At the end of the day, we still cared.

We loved one another and still do.

I love you, Grandpa.

Happy 74th Birthday.
