Dear Jesus

Dear Jesus,

I know I haven’t been the best person I can be in the world; I have made mistakes and have done things I regret. And have been angry sometimes for no reason at all. And I just want to ask, if you can forgive me?

I know I should have been a better daughter, granddaughter, aunt, student and friend. But I guess I just wasn’t and I wish I had of been better than the girl I was yesterday.

All I am asking right now is for you to take me into your heart and help me become a better person and help me find my true purpose in life. What am I supposed to be? Where should I be going? Can you guide me in the right direction while walking beside me Lord?

I know I have done things I shouldn’t have done. Regretted things I didn’t see, the things I didn’t do and the places I didn’t go. But I just want you to know I am grateful for the things I have and for the people in my life.

There are things I want to do and places I want to see and people I still want to meet. Some of them I can’t meet because they are already in your loving arms but I know one day I will meet them, just not right now.

I know I can be who I dream to be. But Lord I need your magic to help me become those things and make my dreams happen. I don’t know if you’re listening but I hope you are and can help me do better.

I know I can do better and with your help I know I can help change the world and achieve my goals and live my dreams. I want to sing and be a part of film. I hope you can help me become braver and just go for the icing on the cake and just do it without being afraid.

Thanks for letting me be a part of LSP too. I hope you can find it in your heart to let me sing well too.

Thanks for letting me be a writer and photographer. And an active volunteer at the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts. I love you Jesus, talk soon. Amen.

Lynn.
