Why I Started Blogging

I started blogging back in 2014, 2015 when I began going to Nudeal in 2014 at Centre 3 in Downtown Hamilton after I finished high school. During our classes we would post our assignments like videos, writing, photography, animations, trips we went on, etc. And I absolutely loved it. And now I write for many different reasons like when I am having an off day I feel that I can depend on my writing to help me with the many emotions I hold in every day that I shouldn’t be holding in. I can just escape to my writing world and be myself and forget about the real world for a while. And I also like to help others cope with their lives and help them move forward. I love inspiring people to live their dreams, to be themselves and to not be afraid of trying new things.

Sometimes I get angry and sad because I know I still have depression and I am sometimes happy when I am not sad or angry. It is normal to be happy, sad and angry but for me being sad and angry almost every day isn’t normal. Having depression isn’t a nice thing for anyone. And I wish it wasn’t real. Other times I write when I am inspired or just want to write anyway especially when I am daydreaming and listening to music. A lot of my ideas that come to mind is when I am listening to music and watching YouTube. It’s amazing what YouTube can do for everyone.

I deleted my old blogging website months ago because I wasn’t paying any attention to it. And it was just sitting there not getting any tender loving care. So I took it down and promised myself that when I was ready I would make a new blog. I wasn’t very active on that blog that is also another reason why I deleted that blog in the first place. I figured I should just delete it and maybe one day start another blog.

So I decided that yesterday on April 30, 2020, I would make a new blog and start over. You may see new and old posts from the previous website if you ever had the chance to visit it. And if you haven’t that is okay. And you will see many other writing and artsy stuff on this blog too. Most of you may know that I am a youth writer for the Sherman Hub Newspaper so you will see articles I have in the paper on this blog too. Since only a little part of Ward 3 sees this paper. So I am making sure that everyone can see my section of the paper. My voice is not only for Ward 3. It is for all of Hamilton, Canada and everywhere else in the world that wants to view my creative side. I am proud of where I am from and I am proud of my heritage and wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am proud to call Hamilton Home.

My blog is not only for writing, drawing, animations, videos, music and many other creative things that I love to do. It is also for folks like you to gather to not only read my work or view the other forms of art but to be a community and support each other. I want my blog to be able to bring any community together, be at peace and love one another. If you need someone to listen, need help or advice I am always an email away. My email is lynn.clara.watkins@hotmail.com just in case you ever need to chat.

"Be the change you wish to see in the world." Mahatma Gandhi. One day we can all change the world just start with yourself. And when that day comes we will be unstoppable. Always be kind.

Your Friend in writing,

Lynn.
